Communicating for Influence
It was an absolute honour to speak at #getconnected this week at Optus. To be among such clever and passionate local business leaders was energising, to say the least. A special thanks to the City of Ryde, Jan Bouhali, Macquarie Park Ryde Business Chamber and Optus for bringing this amazing event to life.
I spoke on the topic of communicating for influence and in particular the link between creating a great employee experience and customer experience, and the importance of having an integrated approach.
I encouraged attendees to schedule 15 minutes in their calendars to reflect on their business and ask themselves these three questions as part of their 2023 #strategicplanning process:
1. Does your business vision reflect your business aspirations?
2. Do you have an audacious goal to share with your people?
3. Are you clear on your single most compelling message?
